Embassy of the United Arab Emirates — Brussels is the data controller for the personal data collected through this invitation site, for the sole purpose of organising the event “Where the Frame Ends, the Story Begins” at Bozar, RUE RAVENSTEIN 23, 1000 BRUSSELS.

When you accept or decline the invitation we collect: first and last name, title or position, organisation, email address, your attendance answer, the details of an accompanying guest (name, and optionally title and organisation) and any message you write. This data is used only to manage the guest list, control access on the evening, and contact you about this event.

Legal basis (GDPR art. 6): performance of your request to attend and the legitimate interest of the organiser in running the event. Providing the data is necessary to register; without it we cannot process your RSVP.

Access is limited to the event organising team and the host. Data is stored on our hosting and database provider’s servers within the EU. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

Registration data is deleted at the latest 12 months after the event, unless a longer period is required by law.

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to its processing, at any time by writing to the contact address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Autorité de protection des données, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels — contact@apd-gba.be).

This site uses strictly necessary cookies and local storage only: they keep the session of the organising team logged in to the private management area and ensure the site works. No analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used, so no cookie consent banner is required. If tracking tools are added later, a consent banner will be displayed before any such cookie is set.
